I AM SHER LOCKED

I admit that I am a fan of series. My favorites are Friends, How I Met Your Mother, the Big Bang Theory, Suits, Game of Thrones and many more.

Just recently, I started watching Sherlock. A friend of mine recommended it to me about a year ago. I must say I am really amused.

The episode that had struck me so far was Episode one of the 2nd season, Scandal in Belgravia. This was the episode where Sherlock Holmes "intertwined" with Irene Adler. In will not go through with the full details of the episode because what i want to talk about is the relationship between the both of them.

I have to admit I was hooked with how these two hit it off. Certainly, a man like Sherlock Holmes would never admit that he has feelings for a girl but his actions will tell us quite the opposite.

When Irene was around, Sherlock's deduction skill clearly improved a thousand fold. He was able to decode a top secret code in under a minute. What does this tell us?

Well, I suppose this will be a bit of a cliche, but I want to talk about it none the less. Most of us do not admit it, but women really do have a big impact in the lives of men.

Someone has to do the "Dirty Work"

While i was at my freshmen year at college, i read a very interesting paper from my Sociology class. "Poverty has its advantages". I was like whaaat??! How can one of the dreaded issues in that some societies face even have a silver lining to it? Then it hit me. "Poverty takes care of takes care of the "dirty work of the society".

This is a sad yet surprisingly lucky reality that we have right now. Indeed, most people consider poverty as a problem of the society that needs to be solved. Most people fail to realize that they won't have rice to eat if not for those farmers sacrificing themselves to produce them. Streets would be engulfed with filthy garbage coming from households if those noble garbage collectors were not here. Self-centered shitheads (terrorists) would just go on terrorizing cities if not for armed forces repelling their dominion. On a more stupid yet literal manner, there would be no need for social workers if there would be no more people in need of "the help" they get from them.

Do you get my point? i know this may sound really idiotic or confusing. but try to think about it really carefully.

To make it clearer, perhaps, i should start by clarifying what i really mean by "dirty work". To be honest, i don't have a concrete and definite meaning for this.
